You can use RuntimeChecker in order to check any application that is causing memory leak problems and consequently making your system unsteady. The procedure to check an application can be done in two ways: you can browse the desired application and execute it inside RuntimeChecker; or you can select a running process and RuntimeChecker will be attached to it.

RuntimeChecker shows step by step all the modules executed when running an application. It also shows all the memory blocks used in a memory tree. To complete a checking process, the application has to be closed without being forced. One parameter that can be configured is the length of call stack for the memory leak. You can export a report of the results found for reviewing them later.

The publisher highly recommends creating a PDB file and copying it to the same folder where the application is located before checking an application. All the process to check the memory leak of an application could be difficult to perform for unexperienced users.
